I am a freelance translator who has worked alongside the localisation and IT industry for nearly twenty years. Please browse this site for information about my services and qualifications.

Services

I offer a high-quality translation service from English and Swedish into my mother tongue German, specialising in the translation of software and technical documentation in areas such as CAD/CAM, networking technologies, telecommunication systems, software programming and web design, but I also translate texts of a general nature.

All translations are thoroughly checked for quality before delivery to the client, with particular emphasis on content, style, grammar, spelling, terminology and any special requirements you may have.

Special care is given to deadlines, and you can rest assured that your translation will be completed and delivered within the time frame agreed – in fact, I have never missed a deadline in all my years as a freelance translator.

The professional use of many CAT programmes, such as Trados, SDLX and WorldServer, is an integral part of my work.
