I am a native German speaker. I grew up in Neuburg/Donau in central Bavaria.

Having attended the Institute of Foreign Languages and Foreign Studies at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, (Institut für Fremdsprachen und Auslandskunde bei der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg), my formal qualification is as a State approved Translator and Interpreter (Staatl. gepr. Übersetzerin und Dolmetscherin), 1991.

Technical Translations

I have a solid technical translation background with particular emphasis on localisation. My main areas of expertise include the translation and localisation of
Networking, CAD and Web Design software and related documentation.


I have worked for 12 years as a technical translator, 2 years in technical support and have had periods of employment with leading IT and localisation companies, such as IBM in Scotland, SAP in Germany and Berlitz in Ireland.
